John brings a wealth of experience in data analytics to the Sensor team. This is extremely valuable because data is what sensors generate in massive quantities, all of which has to be analyzed, stored and accessed for reports. John also has proven capabilities in turning data into information which can be acted on to reduce costs and increase revenue.

John has engaged with thousands business and technology leaders, speaking on big data, IoT, digital transformation and the operational value of data science.

Prior to consulting, John was CIO for WASH, North America's premier provider of multifamily housing services with over 70,000 installed locations. At WASH he gained extensive experience, contacts and knowledge in the multifamily housing industry. He has been recognized by MIT and Microsoft for his work in advanced data analytics. Prior to WASH, John held CIO and IT leadership roles at Panavision and Alliance Healthcare.

John’s C level executive experience, knowledge of the multifamily housing industry and nationally recognized expertise in data analytics brings important insights into these key components of Sensor Industries’ business and our corporate governance.



Casey Knauss - Chief Operating Officer

Casey's work has taken him from one challenging project to the next across varying industries. As a software developer and business consultant he aims to optimize productivity, business intelligence, and profitability. As a serial learner he is always exploring the horizon and looking to incorporate the latest stable trends into his work. At his core Casey is an adaptable problem solver and solutions architect who has found software to be his preferred tool. With experience in management, IT and product development he is well equipped to handle the challenges at a fast growing company. Casey holds a BA in Research Psychology.


Wade Horigan Director of Sales

Wade has worked within the multifamily sub-metering and RF remote-read system industry since early 2013. His experience and abilities range from maintaining current client relationships, working through the prospecting, sales and bidding/contract process to hands-on system installation and troubleshooting in the field. His role as Sales Director oversees Sensor Industries’ nationwide Authorized Dealer network as well as heading the internal sales, client relations and customer retention departments. Wade has an extensive background in real estate, negotiation, mediation, small business project management, consulting, marketing, and construction. He and his wife Andrea are originally from the east coast. They have lived and raised their 3 children in Ventura since 1991. Wade enjoys volunteering as a Little League Umpire, raising money for The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and kayaking and hiking with his family.
